What Happens if a Wormhole is Formed in Our Solar System?

What would Happen if you flew into a wormhole?

Would you ever hear back?

Where Would you end up? In some other galaxy or back in time?

This is What Happens if a Wormhole forms in our solar system and if you are looking for answers to all these amazing question then you are at really right place. As this article is dedicated to this purpose so just stick to it as all the details would be discussed here in great details.

You have probably heard about wormholes from thor, interstellar or star trek. Also, it can be possible that you have learnt about it reading a lot of science fiction novels. Maybe you have heard it from Albert Einstein who told about it a long ago. In 1935, Albert Einstein and physicist Nathan Rosen came up with the idea of bridges in space time. Sounds so shocking ? You feel baffled ?

Well, yeah, it is how it is.

Wormhole is a shortcut through space time. And Wormhole is less like a bridge but more like a tunnel. It is basically a tunnel that links two points in a space time and if you pass through it you can end up in different galaxy, different universe or a fourteenth century Europe.Well, it would be amazing to start from one of its point in modern times or in milky way galaxy to reach at ancient times or some farthest star system at some other end of universe.

Well, that is only if you keep wormhole from collapsing. The trouble is no have ever seen a wormhole and we probably don't find one any time soon. Another problem would be, if wormhole do exist in our solar system they probably be microscopic. Any Wormhole that could accommodate human travel would require a crazy amount of mass.Think about it. The smallest black hole is thought to be a size of atom but with a mass of mountain. So, while we can't really calculate the mass of worm hole that could really fit a few of us in spaceship, we just know, that it would be astronomical and its gravitational pull would probably redirect the tilt of rotation of all the planets in our solar system.

But things would go back to normal soon enough, as Wormholes are highly unstable and are destined to collapse quickly. This is because walls of wormhole attract each other.Which is why the wormholes would close shortly after they are opened unless you had some exotic matter. Exotic matter is negative energy that is what you need in order to repel the gravitational forces trying to bring the walls of wormhole together. Unfortunately there is no such matter that even exists in our universe.

But if you are already set to make a trip across the universe, then there is one more thing you should know, that laws of physics says, that you wouldn't be able to put enough negative energy into a wormhole to keep it from collapsing.

Most importantly, the chances of existence of wormholes in our universe is so slim to none. Though scientist have all the theoretical knowledge of wormhole still the search to see them or have some physical evidence of them has not just ended. Summing up, currently we have no known wormhole in our space yet.
